childhood bestie / 21 years

Zai and I have shared countless memories through our Saturday school classes, Girl Guides trips and Blockbuster-movie sleepovers...and through it all, our friendship is unbreakable. To be a part of Zai’s special day is a privilege and an honour because I’ve seen my best friend grow up from a young child, to an awkward tween, to an ambitious adult and now, to a beautiful wife. It’s my turn to pass the torch of memories to Muf—wishing you both all of life’s incredible adventures.

I’ve known Zainab for as long as I can remember, growing up with her in Saturday school, becoming friends over candy till now—and it’s always been a thrill. She helped me pave the way and took me with her to all the fun places. From my first real New Years party to checking out a local hot spot, she has been the one I go to when I need a good time. Since Zainab met Muf, I can see not only is she is truly living her best life, but she’s become the best version of herself. Hope this union brings nothing but love, happiness and joy for the two of you!

I met Zai through our mutual friend Kim. She had always talked highly of Zai and when I finally met her, we instantly became friends! We quickly bonded over our love for Drake, horror movies, make up, cats and the Six. Zai has been an amazing friend and I am so happy to be by her side as she begins this exciting new chapter as Mrs. Tayebaly.

I’m a 27 year old make-up and dog enthusiast living in Chicago. Zai and I have been soul sisters since the first grade. Although we live in different countries (for now),we share a bond like no other. She is truly my greatest friend!

Hi! I am one of Zainab’s childhood best friends. Our relationship goes back so long ago that there are debates on how we truly met. That’s not important, what’s important is we were inseparable. Until, I got married and moved to Alberta 4 years ago (the other side of the country for those who don’t know). I do not know much about Muf, but all I know is any man brave enough to marry Zainab must be a great guy. Good luck, Muf!

One fateful night, working late at the WE office, Zainab and I bonded over pizza and Beyonce. A million+ selfies later, we've been on many adventures together, but her trip to San Fran proved to be the best. She returned home talking about a dreamy New Yorker named 'Muf'. Through almost 500 miles apart, these two always made it work and prove true love conquers distance.

Moiz Tayebaly

the best man / brother

I’m Muf’s older and wiser brother. Just as I started to settle into my life as an only child, about 22 months later, I was blessed with a little brother. Life changed right away and being so close in age, there was both a lot of brotherly love and a lot of fighting. We shared a computer growing up, so it would always be a battle to get on our super speedy reoccurring free trial of AOL dial-up internet! On the surface we have different personalities but we have an amazing, unique bond and always help each other out with our side hustles. We shared a room until I went to college but Muf missed me so much we even lived together at Rutgers too! Can’t wait to give Zainab the user guide to surviving life with Muf. Welcome to the family Zai, so excited to be gaining a sister!

I'm living in Philadelphia, PA specializing in Construction, Engineering and Real Estate now, but I grew up with Muf down the street. When I first met Muf, he was very quiet. My Dad used to joke with him to see if he could get him to laugh. It took some effort but eventually Muf broke haha. Growing up we both loved computers, sports cars and being outdoors. Muf’s an incredibly loyal, honest and all around good friend. I'm very happy for him and Zai and look forward to my first trip to Canada, oh yah!

I’ve known Muf Daddy way before Puff Daddy was a thing. In high-school we co-founded (with Taylor) Blok Head Designs, a graphic design company, and after college we co-founded the penthouse at 24 W. 46th. Both with similar results: great lifetime memories. I’m really looking forward to the marriage of these two, especially since Zai’s first visit to NYC I knew something bigger was brewing, and if I’m going to be replaced as a roommate, it better be for something special!

When I first moved into the same town as Muf, we became friends immediately. We shared the same classes together and aced all of our projects like the hurricane house we built in my dad's basement and the edible three layer volcano cake that Muf's dad made for us a day before it was due since we were running late haha. We're still working on projects together till this day, like trying to figure out what's for lunch since we work at the same company in the same building. Zai and Muf are great together and I'm happy to be apart of their journey!

Muf and I have known each other since we were kids growing up in the same town. We both liked cars and the outdoors playing volleyball, paintball and causing mischief. Year's later after a lot of free ice cream from Muf's Halo Pub days, wild college vists and hometown traditions we're still those same kids when we see each other. When I first met Zai at one of Muf's birthday gatherings, I could see why he's always flying to Canada to see her. Looking forward to heading their myself this time around for the big day!

Muf and I met working at a local ice cream parlor called Halo Pub. We went to different high schools, but it was only a matter of time before Muf, his brother Moiz and I became really close friends through long closing nights, giving away ice cream, startup dreams and your average (some may say NSFW) teenage shenanigans. Then came college at Rutgers University, where we lived together for a year and spent countless nights slaying College Ave. Now years later, we are practically neighbors living in New York City.

I've known Muf his entire adult life (living in New York City). What started as a handshake introduction one random Saturday night, turned into a lifelong friendship. I've gotten to know Muf through many different lenses over the years; watching the big game, working together, going to rooftop parties, sharing late night pizza and turning birthday parties into epic stories. Whenever one of us needed a friend, we could always count on the other to show up. I'm so excited for Muf and Zai's wedding and look forward to celebrating like we've never celebrated before!
